OTOH, windows, OS/X and iOS usually don't provide mail relay service. It's arguably the correct configuration for desktop boxes. It's categorically a stupid configuration for servers, which is made worse by the fact that it's troublesome to disable on linux (client side) and several varieties of cisco IOS). Nick
