I see that, but it will work only if the ISP provides a “button” so you can get 
the prefix changed, or the lease time is so short that you can make sure that 
rebooting your router you get a new prefix, so I don’t really see that.

If the ISP provides the button, then it will work the same for persistent 
prefixes, so you get the advantages of “both” choices. This will also work for 
people that still considers persistent prefix = lack of privacy.

    Correct, but if your prefix is not persistent then you can change it right 
    before the game and at least whoever is trying to ddos you have to get 
    updated information. It's not like you have had the same prefix for the 
    past 3 years.
