There is nothing in 3GPP standards that stops DHCPv6-PD to work from what

3GPP standardised single stack IPv4 / IPv6 and dual stack back in the
2000:ds, and DHCPv6-PD entered the standards back in 2012. I haven't heard
anything about this changing. I have also no implementation report of
DHCPv6-PD, but I've been out of that business for a long time.
Can they buy a real IPv4 address for their business?
This has nothing to do with "5G" but are all market decisions by the
operator in question. 3GPP doesn't decide that. They don't have a
"protocol police" either.
Any pointers to public documents on how it's intended to work with ipv6
would be welcomed, and if this is a question covered by this group
before, please steer me in the right directions.
Since 5G initially will be 4G with faster radio, I presume the rest of 4G
still applies.
