Hi all,
I want to confirm one thing:
In RFC 4113, mib-2 7.1~7.4 .
Ex:
udpInDatagrams OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX Counter32 MAX-ACCESS read-only STATUS current DESCRIPTION "The total number of UDP datagrams delivered to UDP users. Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by discontinuities in the value of sysUpTime." ::= { udp 1 } The object description is "The total number of UDP".
That means if system support IP and IPv6, we should report the sum
of ip and ipv6 packets.
Does it correct? Or it only the sum of ip packets?
Thanks,
sofina
