   OK, so what are the other options for encapsulating a packet in a IPv6
   packet?
   
=> UDP-lite or a direct encapsulation (IMHO LISP should ask for
a (IPv6) protocol number).

   I'm told by some people that UDP-Lite isn't a standard yet? Or is it?

=> RFC 3828, protocol 136.

   Does UDP-Lite work through NAT boxes?

=> I don't know but there is no deployed IPv6 NATs.
