How many of those NBMA networks do we have left? If redirects are helpful 
there, why do\n't we say in the requirement document, use it there, but do not 
bother elsewhere?

Back to my previous point, the fact that something can be useful in some cases 
is not a good basis to make it mandatory to implement everywhere.

Let's be practical here....
