That at least is easily explained. PXE requires that we allow time for a ProxyDHCPOFFER to be received. You can eliminate this delay by setting option space ipxe; option ipxe-encap-opts code 175 = encapsulate ipxe; option ipxe.no-pxedhcp code 176 = unsigned integer 8; option ipxe.no-pxedhcp 1; > I'm just not sure what to do. How do I turn up the verbosity even more? Have you looked at the output of "ifstat" after the failed DHCP attempt? That will tell you whether or not the DHCPACK packets were actually received by iPXE, for a start. If the packets were received in error, it will also show you what that error was.
