I'm still puzzled by this. I can believe the "INT 18: Boot failed" message as a result of "exit", but not as a result of "sanboot --drive 0x80". Could you try building with DEBUG=int13 and take a photo or screenshot of the result after typing "sanboot --drive 0x80" at the command line?
