Yes, it's possible. It's not guaranteed to work with all drivers: some drivers won't support the 1518-byte packets required to accommodate the VLAN header. (This restriction may also apply to some underlying PXE stacks, if you're using undionly.kpxe rather than a native iPXE driver.) You need to ensure that your network will allow VLAN traffic. Many switches will require you to explicitly enable the port as a VLAN trunk port, and may also require you to specify which VLANs will be permitted on each port. Which iPXE driver are you using?
