You are referring to the Mar 13 checkins? I don't quite know enough to understand all the implications, but allowing ipxe downloaded images to appear via a EFI_SIMPLE_FILE_SYSTEM_PROTOCOL is definitely a good thing...
I'm not sure I get to decide if ipxe is .efifrom or .efidrv since snponly.efi is my PXE payload - is there a flag or a switch in the payload? I guess load-as-an-app is still in progress (I wish we had more obvious source control markers for stable/work-in-progress)?
