cant reply in any other way right now.

Michael: Could this be down to the same Surface issues that we played around 
with Michael? I.e. something else is on play on the Surface than what we 
thought? I can expand my Surface testing when I get back from the US next week.

Looks like we are mostly fine on the Surface but also there are some 
problematic versions. Though I don't really see what exactly is causing the 
hang.

We use the 64 bit ipxe.efi binary.
