I would try option ipxe.iscsi code 17 = unsigned integer 8; from https://gist.github.com/robinsmidsrod/4008017 list on official site: http://ipxe.org/howto/dhcpd
Unfortunately, the Virtualbox iPXE seems to have this option also set, however I will try again (it also sounds strange to me, since it does not support the sanboot command), maybe I've made a mistake in my test.
