I am starting to think that propogation is going wacko this year. This morning was a exaggerated version of the unexpected stuff for me. 890/Dawson Creek BC over the top of St. George UT...Athabasca AB and Nome AK both very strong on 850 with Mr. Grundig pointed north, until Mexicali came on...870/Smithers BC with virtually no KRLA...KYUK/640 heard for the first time under KFI...KENI and CISL on 650 way over semi-local KSTE, but no KFAR or KFQD (which I have been hoping and trying for). The crown jewel of propogational silliness was courtesy of a meteor yesterday morning...a snippet of a commercial for Hawaii National Bank on 93.1 FM. Would it be a coincidence that KQMQ/Honolulu is on 93.1? I don't know what to expect anymore. Mike Hawkins Campbell CA

They're supposed to protect KNX in a big way, so I wonder if they're a little out of whack, or whether it's just the magic of propagation.
