All in jest: I'm not a Native American. I was born in Los Angeles.
Does that mean that Los Angeles is not part of the US?
Seriously, I've heard KTNN ("The Navajo Nation") while passing
through. A strange-sounding language, but I understand the reasons why
because of the grammatical structure.
The Navaho call themselves "Dinè; [dee-neh], which, I understand mean
"The People" . That's what most Indians/Native Americans call
themselves.
Myself, I'm 5% Cherokee, which is just about the level of Indian blood
of most Americans and Canadians of long native (usual meaning) blood
lines. Which means many or even most of us are doubly-related ,
distantly.
Just thought The Crew (Which is the DXer Tribe's name and means "The
Crazy Ones") might like that!
Whooooooop!
Charlie
PS: My spell-checker went berserk over that one!
