Steve had a good morning, as did I on the west coast. Pretty much an
exclusively Japanese morning with a total of 19 audios. The usual JJ power
houses were back with some pretty impressive signals, although I did note deep
fades.
For example, listening to the prolonged NHK2 sign-off of 828 JOBB would be a
"9", but fading deeply to a "6", but back up again within seconds. Apart from
a weak 1566 HLAZ, it looks like all my other audios were Japanese:
567, 585, 594, 666, 747, 774, 828, 837, 846, 864, 873, 954, 1143, 1188, 1242,
1287, 1332, 1386 (I didn't count this one, since I believe it's an NHK2 with an
open carrier at around 15:15. Strong too), 1503, and 1566. I'm pleased. Still
one just needs to look back at September and October to see the difference!
This would have been a very ho-hum morning then! ..........Walt Salmaniw,
Victoria
