Nice to have you along for the ride, Chris. It'll be nice to see what you hear out there.
Bert New Watkinsville, Georgia Proudly Serving You Since 1964! Hello, I've been lurking here for a few days. Seems like a fairly serious business, this MWDXing. I take it one must be morning person in a big way to hear some of these interesting signals. Before I begin changing my sleep patterns, I wonder what I might reasonably expect given my location and setup? I'm located near Edmonton, AB, in Western Canada. My radio is a Drake SPR-4, and my antenna a single homebrew K9AY loop, roughly oriented ESE/WNW. I do OK on the tropical bands with this, with Africans and South Pacific. As far as MW, I haven't heard too many exotic things. It would be fun to log some Alaskans or Hawaii. Anyone in these parts have some tips - things to hunt for? Seems like the TPs are predictably happening way on the West Coast. Cheers, Chris VE6RDC _________________________________________________________________ Add a Yahoo! contact to Windows Live Messenger for a chance to win a free trip! http://www.imagine-windowslive.com/minisites/yahoo/default.aspx?locale=en-us&hmtagline _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://arizona.hard-core-dx.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
