I think the most obvious may be being ignored.  A sports station will often 
have a taped discussion with THE COACH, or attribute something to THE COACH, or 
blame something on THE COACH.  If you can't hear every word they say, but hear 
THE COACH multiple times, it could be assumed (albeit incorrectly) that the 
station slogan was THE COACH.
