Yeah, 

  Researched some years ago. Pt. Judith, RI neighbor remodeled his home. He 
used "RFI Suppressed" dimmers. Cost about a dollar - in 1990 - more than 
standard noisy hobby-destroying obnoxious insolent dimmers which sound very 
much 
like HD Radio - with or without the HD receiver. All well, no noise. Electrical 
contractor emphasized 'RFI Suppressed" or words conveying that meaning are the 
ticket.

Shielding good but noise crawls via power and ground leads to leap about 
neighborhood like some syphillis-crazed incubus. If you're onna same secondary 
power lines as offending dimmer, well, my condolences. Personal experience 
w/such: Horrid. RF Interference, as w/all pestilence, best killed at source.
