My errant post was intended for ndblist, an international group of LF beacon DXers. One weekend a month a Coordinated Listening Event (CLE) is held and a small range of frequencies is chosen to listen in. Each participant tries to hear as many beacons as possible. This weekend is November's CLE, with the 260-269.9 and 440-1740 kHz frequency range. It's not a competitive event, but I always compete against myself.
