Interesting.  Rather than a format change, I wonder if this is an example of  
"ethnic brokered" programming.  Perhaps KVNS sells "middle of the night" air 
time to a Mexican-American group.  I'm just guessing.  Hopefully someone in (or 
near) South Texas can provide a definite answer.
