After strong AU's there's often a couple days of after effects. Tonite is one of those days, although a few hours after sunset the AU cx typically weaken. Tonite featured some of the best Mexican/C.Am cx I have ever heard here. About 90 minutes ago I had 3 SS stns mixing on 1040 all atop a very weak WHO. Nicaragua on 680(new) with the same soccer coverage as on 600 and also seemingly (as sometimes hrd) on 620 w/WTMJ phased out but well u/Mexico City. Bunches of unID's including something very strong for a while on 740 that ID's as Siete Cuarenta Radio by a gal a couple times but no place mentioned. It basically played somewhat mellow ballads and was later knocked out by Radio Formula // 970 and at times noted 770. Much of the lower half of the dial had several LA's on some channels.
