> (RI TIS) I cant find the notes on it. Its abt 70 miles Maybe Craig knows.
I know of a few locals. Out on Cape Cod, the Steamship Autority has two on 1610. New Bedford has one. The RI Department of Transportation HARs moved from 1610 to 1630 a while back. Maybe them? Next time I'm down in the southern part of the state, I'll tune around. FWIW, the 1630 HARs come in well on Martha's Vineyard and around the Cape. Very good coverage. There are a number of them, but all with different programming, usually. Do you get those in NH? Speaking of local TIS stations, the Horseneck Beach TIS on 530 is quite audible in Providence, perhaps 25-30 miles away. Also audible in New Bedford at the WNBH site. Dunno the power, but if it's a ten watter, it does *very* well. I don't know if you get that up there, but it wouldn't surprise me. One of these days I'll DF it to see where the antenna is.
