At 1550 UT, 594 had a solid carrier,  traces of audio in the splash 
and local electrical noise;  couldn't even swear it was Japanese, as 
the rest of the big JJ guns were pretty much absent.    DF wasn't 
successful, and only the high pip was heard on the hour.

Otherwise, a fair number of weak low band carriers, but upper band 
was pretty poor by then.  A fair carrier on 1566 earlier.
