I monitored between 15:30 and 15:55, so a little later. Had reasonable audio on 612 4QR (a 7) at 15:35, but only briefly. Nothing there later. Also weak audio on 1566 HLAZ and especially 1575 VOA (a 6 to 7). Otherwise plenty of carriers, especially on the upper half of the band, and favouring a southerly direction. Japanese were notable by their weakness. Also absent, though, was Tahiti on 738. I also wonder whether Fiji was off channel this morning on 638.85. Pretty strong carrier, at least a 4, but no audio. Lots of interesting carriers on the upper half of the band that are not often seen, and much less often heard. Might have been an interesting morning at Grayland. ........Walt Salmaniw, Victoria
