This is from the CE at KOMP, in response to my follow-up of a July 2006 double hop FM reception. Note what he says about the importance of presenting a report that is clearly over the air instead of an internet audio stream. Each of my letters offers a paragraph of explanation about E-skip (or tropo), and I try to describe how the signal pops in for a few minutes at a time.
By the way, I noticed, in doing a mass mailing of follow-ups in the last few weeks, that nearly all of the original reports that contained an RDS screenshot were answered on the first try. Maybe this gives some authenticity to my claim of over-the-air reception? Of the 70 reports I sent out ten days ago, I've received more than 20 back in about a week.
