This is one of those situations where an overly long antenna aimed right at 'em might work. I wonder if two BOGS in parallel maybe 900 feet apart would work? That's a bit over a half wave at 610KHz, so signals off the sides would get extra cancellation. The trick would be finding essentially a thousand foot square empty field. Maybe some farmer could be persuaded to let a DXer lay out some wires for a test.
