It seems hard to catch the peaks these mornings, as they only last a few minutes, but can be quite good. Had you stopped listening by 1500UT, Dennis? The low band Japanese came up quite nicely then for a short time here, then were gone by the end of the NHK2 s/off. The propagation monitor says the real peak was around 1100UT this morning, but I need to sleep sometime! And as you say, the top of the band was pretty dead. *********** TA's are their "usual" half hearted selves this evening. 1215 is the best carrier (2 of 'em again, usual 3 Hz apart with a SAH); 1134, 1206 and 1341 only others weakly audible, but quite a few "visible" with Spectran....what about the 4 carriers on 1584 for example? Once could waste quite a lot of time speculating on all those minimal carriers. best wishes, Nick **************************************************************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, B.C.
