Wasn't much sunrise enhancement this morning, and I wasn't up as early as Dennis. Best noted here was Japanese talk on 1503kHz just after 1500UT; 594 wasn't audible by then. The NHK2 stations had some audio around 1440UT, but burbling in among the domestic splash; no signals were clear. It was quite frustrating listening, as there were a number of strong carriers at that time, but not much punching through the splatter. According to the propagation monitor, low band signals peaked around 1300UT, as did something on 1215kHz, where I monitor Virgin Radio, with a bycatch of TPs if there are any. 1215 isn't a strong TP frequency here, and it wouldn't be Virgin Radio at that time, so suspect that 1300UT would have been the time to have had the radio on. best wishes, Nick **************************************************************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, B.C.
