Thanks! I'll take a look at it. The copper loops I've built can also be tuned by adding a winding of about 36 turns into the ferrite toroid and putting that across a variable capacitor of 365pf or more. What I did find is that tuning increased the gain at that frequency. With the R8B, it didn't improve any reception. The receiver was plenty resistant to overload and didn't benefit from the tuning. Nulling was similarly not improved.
