I've used Audacity before, and it's quite an accomplished program.
However, if all I want to do is make quick conversions from WAV to MP3, I
use dbpowerAMP Music Converter. It's located on this site:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ The simplicity of this program is appealing;
after you spend a few moments configuring, it's very easy to reuse the same
settings again and again.
