I listened to WBNC for years, from 68 until probably the early to mid 80's, remember Duane Ingalls Glasscock? How about the strike when they were bought out in the late 70's? (which kind of ruined the station, the new company I mean, not the strike). It was a great station, probably the 2nd or 3rd progressive FM in the country.
