Is it true that during the sixties at WMEX the DJ names stayed the same whenever the person changed? Heard there were three or four Fenways. /////// I've known of several stations that did this back in the day. Some bought jingle packages centered around the air name and didn't want to waste those expensive jingles. So the name stayed at the station even when the personnel changed. There were also certain names that seemed to be on the air at almost every small market station. Jay Robins is one that comes to mind.
