Kenin, Don't be surprised if you get a letter back from a congressman/congresswoman saying something like "You are not supposed to listen to stations outside your market". That is what they say when you ask them why we cannot view TV stations outside our market. There is a law that your local TV station holds the rights to that DMA and in most cases you cannot subscribe to a station outside the area,. There are few exceptions too. It would not surprise me in the future for them to feel the same way about radio as they do TV.
