Yes, it's of course the AOR.  I simply love this receiver too, although 
initially I had my misgivings....too many menus, etc.  Now, it's virtually 
always the first receiver on and the last off.  I kick myself as I once had 
two, and sold the other.  Now I think the only receivers that match or surpass 
the 7030 class would be the SDRs.  The feedback from Guy Atkins and John Bryant 
(with the SDR-1000 and WinRadio 313e) is unequivocal:  they will never return 
to the "usual" receivers.  They are simply that much better and with far 
greater capabilities than any of their predecessors.  I'm in the process of 
acquiring the SDR-IQ now (Guy Atkins has it at the moment), so I'm on board 
with them!  ......Walt.
PS:  Without doubt, though, there's something VERY special about turning on a 
boat anchor!
