Yes, on those rare occasions KNEW shuts down I have heard CKDQ atop more than once, but never with much of a signal. Pat, I remember in the mid 60s from Sacramento--KISN Vancouver would usually dominate the frequency after sunset, beating out Oakland etal consistently. In the 90s & 00s I have yet to hear them when KNEW is down. What a difference. Most likely their operation has degenerated from the good ole days. Or they've dumped their skywave.
