My 1968 KURB QSL letter said they had nulls towards KGA and "a Canadian
station" (presumably CKAY-1500), with the main lobe aimed south. I was never
at the KURB/KKZU/etc transmitter site and haven't been to KCIS's night time
site. I don't think they're the same site, but I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure KCIS started nighttime operation before the 1510 station went
dark as KKZU. That wouldn't have precluded a diplexing arrangement, though I
don't know how easy or hard it would be to diplex 630 with a figure 8 aimed
east-west, with 1510 aimed south with nulls to the E and NW, using three towers
(tower height at such disparate frequencies for one thing might make it a bit
challenging). Maybe one of our radio engineers can hazard a guess.

Even if they didn't ever share the facility, it would still be tough getting
towers sized for 1510 kHz to work well at 630, so I suspect KCIS doesn't use
the old KURB et al site.
