Charles,

I will check to see if power lines are connected to the sub-station.  It 
appears that the sub-station is left of the front locked gate.  I'll be heading 
towards Los Angeles on  HWY 99 so I might stop at Delano and snap a few 
pictures too.  Thanks for links to the VOA Dixon site, very interesting and 
loved the pictures.
