Dennis, The theory behind the EWE that many feel it works like two verticals that are phased, so raising the height does make a difference. I have found even raising them 3 feet does jump the S meter up a bit. I plan to raise the WNW one up 5-10 feet higher this Summer, as the gain of the WNW one is lower than the SW EWE, but the SW one is almost twice as long.
