Uhhhhh, Bob,
Grace Hopper was a Rear Admiral (Lower Half - i.e., Commodore), U.S.
Navy, and I think that she was the first woman (Rear) Admiral female in
the Navy.
Computer Science Pioneer? You bet! That lady could teach even a
President how to find the on/off switch to a computer. Power cord
unplugged? That's another story.
