KCAA 1050 Loma Linda CA was the only ex-Imus affiliate running tapes of old shows, and they stopped doing that after CBS sent in the lawyers. (The last run of the "best-of" shows there was Friday.) In the region I cover for NorthEast Radio Watch, WHEN 620 Syracuse is doing Fox Sports Radio's morning show, WXUR 92.7 Herkimer NY picked up Mike & Mike, WHJJ 920 Providence is moving the syndicated Quinn & Rose show (from WPGB 104.7 Pittsburgh) from late mornings to the Imus slot, WWMJ 95.7 Ellsworth ME is doing automated music, and WTKK 96.9 Boston has plugged local host Mike Barnicle into mornings. A few others in the region are apparently taking Mike & the Mad Dog for now, but that's only an interim move on WFAN's part, so I don't know what'll play out there in the long run. A number of ex-Imus affiliates have publicly said they'll sign up with any syndicator who can put together a new Imus package. s _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
