Watch batteries don't, generally, shatter on contact with a kitchen floor.
Perhaps someone can explain to me why these bulbs are "better" than incandescent bulbs? I'm sure this won't help the world of dxing, especially if there's a flood of cheap noisy bulbs. This has already caused a certain amount of controversy with the admission that there are small amounts of mercury in these CFBs, but "no more than found in a watch battery". This was all done for energy conservation measures and is supposed to cut green house gas emissions by one or two percent.......Walt Salmaniw, Victoria. _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
