1230 NC WFAY Fayetteville, Cumberland Co. @ 1802
4/30 (Local XELNR-1230 Kinston off air
for unknown reason). Out of Mexican
                     music & into ID: W F A Y, Twelve-Thirty
                     [unintelligible]ville, North Carolina'
                     (accented English)....La Tremenda.
[sounded like "Poloville"] In null of
WCBT, Roanoke Rapids. Rather poor for
                     1 kW. (CAT-NC)

1580 KY WXRA Georgetown @ 2002 4/28. Out of Mexi-
can-type music into spot for Taco Bell
                     & then quick, "W X R A, Fifteen-Eighty,"
then back into same-type music. At first,
thought call was WSLE or WXLE. Subsequent
listenings left only WX?A. Then figured
WXRA from NRC mapbook, but EE spot for
Taco Bell threw me. 2005 4/30, back again
"La Pantera" station name. Good through
QRM from another XE type US station.
                     (CAT-NC)
