Following up on my own post (just in case anyone thinks senility is
attacking)...

  I did do a check on my research data, and the ONLY KGLM I found was assigned
to 740 KHz in Avalon CA. I know I don't have everything in my files, but I do
think I have better than 90% coverage. That IS only for AM! If a station was
simulcasting and using FM call letters, I don't know squat and will be
completely up-front about that.

  I have been immersed in another project and just came up for air. Stations in
Montana that have been on 1400 are:

* KDRG/Deer Lodge (1963-2002) call changed to KBCK in 2002
* KJJR/Whitefish (1979-1983/4) changed frequency to 880 in 1983/4
* KXGN/Glendive (1947-current)
* KXLK/Great Falls (1947-1959/63) changed calls to KARR in 1959/63 period, then
to KYOT in 1984, then to KXGF in 1987

I have records of Butte stations on 550, 580, 1060, 1340, 1360, 1370, 1490, BUT
no KGLM or 1400.

Hi. My 1993 KGLM in Montana was on 1400 kHz. Since KGLM FM is in
Anaconda, I'm wondering if Butte ever had a station on 1400, or possibly
the Deer Lodge station once used these call letters. Anybody know?
Thanks,
Doug
