For the last several years WIRO, 1230, Ironton, OH, programmed //WVHU, 800,
Huntington. WTCR, 1420, Ashland, was contemp. Christian ("Joy Radio") and
WZZW, 1600, Milton, carried the same programs. All are Clear Channel
stations. Lately WTCR has gone back to its c&w format, WZZW has dropped
contemporary Christian and is doing some local origination talk, //WIRO. I
have heard WIRO/WVHU/WZZW all carrying conservative talk (Rush, Shawn), in
the afternoons. WRVC, 930, appears to have given up on lib. Talk & is
carrying more and more ESPN. As I noted in an email to CAT, WVKO, 1580,
Columbus, was still off last time I checked. They are not on the "Silent
Station" list received earlier today.
