Pat, I sent an email to Marty the owner of KOHI about a month ago and told him that KOHI must be running 1 kw. He responded by saying that their running 500 watts and he has lower the impedance of the antenna. Last week on his morning news show he said that he's searching for some land to put up a 150 ft antenna. Sounded like he was having problems with local government officials in finding a site. KOHI can be heard out to PDX, but not much further when driving around in the car. I have sent KOHI a few email's reporting their signal strenght and how I like their new local news show. I have heard my name about 3 times on the morning news as "Dennis from Salmon Creek". I live in Salmon Creek, but we have a Vancouver address as Salmon Creek has no post office. This stations is so small that it runs local obituaries on the news show. For $1.00 you can have your event mentioned three times duing their 3 hour morning news show.
