Mike n' Crew,
I neglected to observe that I was hearing the Tizzies at 1830 - 1900 yesterday. Makes a big difference. The short TIS whips emit much high-angle radiation and that makes them hot for short-skip sky- wave. Also, they were coming in on my 45/225ยบ 265-foot unterminated longwire, which is bidirectional (but favors the south).
