Wow. Sony. I am currently visiting Whistler, a resort community north of Vancouver -- within our suite my Grundig YB400 is virtually useless on FM and AM 100-30,000 khz for the orchestra of RF hash, pops, buzzes, whirs and sounds I have never heard before. When I get out on the lanai, it does come to life somewhat... with SW opening up quite nicely only a few feet from the building we are in. My thought is (and I really do not wish to open another digital versus non-digital debate about the evolution of radio... but... An analog radio is useless in most urban environments so I cannot imagine a digital one would be any better. Cheers, -- Colin Newell - Victoria B.C.
