    Your 1600 mix is very interesting.  I also have the  same 3 stations 
(KVRI, KOPT and KOHI) mixing on daytime ground wave, but since  they all come 
from 
the north or south, there is no way to separate them on the  (14 MHz) quad 
loop.
 
    They do have an interesting pattern, however.  KOHI  is usually dominant 
in the morning, from about 7 to 9 AM (why this happens, with  its 1 kw power, 
is a mystery to me).  KVRI is usually dominant during the  midday hours, with 
KOPT and a weak KOHI mixing in. Around sunset, KOHI and  KOPT usually fight it 
out, with KVRI down in the  noise ( KOHI was heard at S7 level around 9 PM 
recently).  
 
     The 1600 mix is also very interesting when  traveling I-5, as I found
