instead heard a non-IDing station (WBEN,
probably) carrying a
baseball game, and a station playing an
instrumental religious
hymn. Came up atop the channel in time for end
of hymn, and
ID: "A station of the Bible Broadcasting
Network, W Y F Q,
Charlotte." Then into instrumental "Old Rugged
Cross."
Semi-local WDLX, "Little Washington" in night
pattern and
buried. Logged as WSOC 2/13/64 from
Indianapolis. (CAT-NC)
