Thanks again for your daytime band scan, Dennis. Your 1180 unID is
probably KLAY, a local pest heard by Patrick on his daytime band scan. Most
of
the Portland area stations are audible here in the daytime, so the
propagation surely goes both ways.
The R8 and MW550P make an interesting combination, but I'm still
learning the quirks of both. When I have the band scan finished, I hope it
will be
interesting to DXers from Oregon and SW Washington, just like yours are very
interesting to someone around Puget Sound.
